Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Here’s something you may not know – some of the world’s most elite military and police units practice martial arts for self-protection. The U.S. Army Rangers do jiu-jitsu; Navy Seals learn everything from kickboxing to Filipino weapons; the Tokyo riot police train in aikido and karate; and the Israeli defense forces train in krav maga. What do these all have in common? They strive to provide options for a smaller, weaker, or disadvantaged opponent to level the playing field in a confrontation. Our grappling program is designed upon this concept, based on the essential elements from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you are a high school student looking to dominate during the wrestling season, cage-fighter with a deficient ground game, or the ‘average joe’ who wants to learn how to neutralize the attack of a man twice his size, check us out!
